homestake
NASA's Mars rover Opportunityhas found "bulletproof" evidence that liquid water—and potentially habitable conditions—once existed on the red planet's surface, scientists say.
The find is a vein of gypsum—a mineral that forms in the presence of liquid water—that's been nicknamed Homestake.
